The North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination is designed to test a candidate's knowledge, judgment and skills that an individual is expected to demonstrate as an entry level pharmacist.
The NAPLEX is a computer-adaptive test used by the state boards of pharmacy as part of their assessment of a candidate's competence to practice pharmacy. The exam questions cover all aspects of pharmacy, with a majority of the questions asked in a scenario-based format. This test is administered three times per year - January, June and October - at specific computer centers across the country.
